Closure • Compassion • Forgiveness

Beloved:

Do you want to be with this man? Or, are you avoiding the work required to begin again?  From what you have shared, it seems as if you are stuck in a pattern.  It may also be that there has been very little forgiveness on your part.  People do not decided to hurt you.  People love you the only way they know how to love.  Sometimes in the process of loving, people engage in behavior that results in pain.  This is the process of living and loving.  Don’t take it personally!  If it is your desire to continue in a relationship with this man, it will be necessary for you to establish open, honest and compassionate communication.  This does not mean that you will get what you want from him.  It means that you must take responsibility for asking for what you want.  I encourage you to start and maintain a forgiveness journal for the next 40 days in which you will not only forgiving others, you will forgive yourself.  70 times a day, write the forgiveness statements which begin with, I forgive myself for _______. Or, I forgive ______ for ________.  Use your principles and the suggested reading materials to support yourself through the experience.  I wish for you the best and the highest.  In the meantime,

Acceptance • Honor • Honesty

Beloved:

Yes you are always making plans and your partner does not honor them.  People show you who they are by their behavior.  What do you do when you see the truth?  From what you have shared, there seems to be a difference between what your partner says and what he does.  Which one makes you must uncomfortable – the truth that you see?  The truth that you know?  Or, what you know you must do about the truth.  As long as you do not honor yourself, you leave the door open for the mischief of other people to dishonor you.  Use your principles and the suggested reading materials to support yourself through the experience.  I wish for you the best and the highest.  In the meantime,
